Situated in an alley behind Bloor is The Green Room. This University of Toronto hot spot is a fun and cheap date joint. The food isn’t great and the beer is most often flat, but when you’re young and hungry and want to get laid, who cares. It’s filled with sexy coeds to 30 something’s who all want to have a good time. The best thing about The Green Room is the atmosphere. It has two floors of lively dining areas surrounded by interesting artwork hanging on the walls. It’s an attractive vibe when the place fills up.
Value is the key here not quality. Wings, French fries and other salty pub grub helps your drinking capacity expand. The nachos are a bed of house made tortilla chips with melted shredded cheddar cheese. Ask for extra cheese and add chicken and guacamole if you dare. Wash down your bar grub with some cheap pints of beer. Get drunk and go back to her place and boink the night away.
