Looking for great Chinese food? Lee Garden on Spadina will satisfy your craving. It’s not the most romantic place for a date, but it’s fun, loud and the food is delicious. We sampled a variety of dishes from the Hot and Sour Soup, to the Sweet and Sour Chicken, which was light and packed a lovely flavor. All of the food was scrumptious, including the quail, deep-fried lamb, wonton soup and veggie nest.

Lee Garden excels with their traditional dishes. Beef, pork, noodles, chicken-- go for it. And get some soup! The hot and sour soup here is awesome! Wash it down with a few beers and you will be dancing in heaven. They don't use MSG either, which means your meal won't weigh you down.

Expect a large line on the weekends. If you are comfortable with it, you and your date can be seated around a large table with another party. It's too bad that they don't give you fortune cookies, because those can be so much fun when you're just starting to date. But don't let that keep you away. I love Chinese food and think it's the best after sex food-- if you don't want to cook, that is.
