Address

Fressen
478 Queen W, at Denison
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
416-504-5127

Situated in one of downtown Toronto's hippest streets is a very sexy vegetarian restaurant called Fressen. The food is delightful, with tons of flavor and interesting textures that will be sure to please any gal's hunger pangs. This is fine dining, vegan-style, set in a casual, friendly atmosphere. So go and eat some veggies. They're good for ya

Vegnews reports that Fressen is one of the 14 hippest vegetarian restaurants in North America. Chef Stephen Garder makes everything from scratch (which, of course, most great restaurants do.) The menu changes daily, due to market availability. As one would expect, most of the ingredients are organic.

Some dishes include a warm, house-baked, whole-grain baguette spread with walnut-spinach pesto and black olive tapenade, stacked with grilled tomatoes over wilted watercress. Continue with meaty, grilled, marinated portobello mushrooms with chimichurri, potato rosti and roasted squash or spinach blini stuffed with warm avocado and corn salsa.

Dinner won't kill your bank account at all. Fressen is well worth the visit for some feel good, vegan bites.
