Zankou chicken is some serious stuff. This Burbank shop is part of a local Los Angeles franchise. It was originally based on a family eatery that started in Lebanon many years ago.
This LA-based chain is amazing. It's quick, tasty and very friendly. The doubly-talented counter girl winked at me. I love chicken from Lebanon.
I sampled a juicy and flavorful Tarana plate. It came with plenty of mouthwatering roasted chicken, salad, humus, tahini and two pitas. Zankou is famous for its flavorful chicken and lovely garlic sauce, which comes on the side. This is great fast food. I highly recommend stopping by Zankou when visiting Los Angeles.
