Who We Are

Dan Corrieri
Publisher and Founder
Mad Food Lover

Dan Corrieri started eating solid food over 32 years ago. He cooked his first meal at the age of 10. While in college, Dan discovered a great way to reach a woman's inner soul/thigh was to cook for her. After graduating from Syracuse University, Dan moved to sunny Los Angeles to get into the oh-so-sexy entertainment industry. As a stress reliever from work and as a way to meet more women, Dan took cooking and entertaining to the next level... he started throwing dinner parties. Over the years, the menus have evolved from trusted Corrieri family recipes to experimental, international feasts of 2-6 courses. Ten years later, Dan continues to throw these shindigs for family, friends, food lovers, and strangers in the night.

Dan has become quite the expert in the art of entertaining and a master of making sure everyone's in good spirits. In addition, Dan has completed an intensive classical French culinary program and has worked as a professional part-time caterer for many years. He also invented and patented the PARTITO PLATE, a specialized dinner plate.

Prior to founding Culinary Seductions, Dan was an Interactive Producer for a boutique web design and hosting firm, where he supervised celebrity and corporate accounts. In addition, Dan co-founded Filmport, an entertainment production software company, worked at Primemedia Business Magazines and Media, as an Account Executive and gained experience in the entertainment industry at International Creative Management, Industry Entertainment and Don Buchwald and Associates, helping manage the careers of celebrities, writers, producers and directors.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Producing for Digital Media from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University.

Suzanne Levine
Producer

Suzanne Levine fully embraces the motto "life is short, eat dessert first," and actually considers it a crime to fill up on entrees at a restaurant and have no room left for pie. She inherited her sweet tooth and fondness for black and white cookies from her dad, and her baking skills from her mom and grandmother. When Bon Appétit began mysteriously showing up in her mailbox, Suzanne quickly discovered that eating the dessert photos wasn't half as tasty as actually making the confections, and began baking regularly. She became serious about the art after taking lessons from the pastry chef of a trendy Los Angeles eatery.

Suzanne is a television writer and published author. In addition, she has worked in various capacities in the entertainment industry on productions including Ants, Shrek, Carnivàle and One Life to Live. Suzanne holds a Master of Science in Television, Radio and Film from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Delaware.

Robert Sexton
Director of Video

Robert has crafted 35mm award winning videos for depraved punks The Dwarves featuring The Suicide Girls, The Hangmen, the sparklehorse-like Graceland and Hollywoodland Legends, Pigmy Love Circus featuring Danny Carey from TOOL.

Robert brings 10 odd years of experience to the Production World; starting out in NYC, Sexton attended the School of Visual Arts. While on a summer break he took a 3 month long, crash culinary course in New York. "It was the smartest thing I had ever done." I ate well during my salad days, and even today, girls are impressed by the construct of a simple omelet or the presentation of an easily prepared, grilled, portabella steak.

Upon relocating to Hollywood he attended the UCLA extension program and then worked as an Editor before getting into meaty side of production. He took on the role as a Producer for acts ranging from Clint Black to Marilyn Manson, commercials for Nascar and Rubio's, Trunk Monkey and Burger King campaigns and now as an award winning Director.

Pia Pownall
Co-Host Sexy Feast

In Pia's family, meals are revered, whether they are prepared in 15 minutes or whether they require days of preparation and numerous grocery-store excursions; they are a cultural and social affair as well as a wholly sensorial experience. This attitude towards great foods undoubtedly comes from her French upbringing and the combined culinary influences of her Italian-American chef-of-a-mother and her British wine-connoisseur father.

Pia is a graduate of the New World Conservatory. As an actor she has just finished shooting her first staring role in a feature to be released in 2007. She has been in several award winning short films.
